Wash First (15 min)

Do the project when you have enough time to properly do it. You need time and a lot a patience to remove all the imperfections with this clay bar. Product is good. Worth every penny spent on it.

Used this on my car that's 6 years old. It's quite a bit of effort, going back and forth over a large area. The bars are as beautiful as the pictures show. I cut mine in half and managed to cover the entire car. IMPORTANT: If you drop the bars on the ground, don't use them again; get a new one instead. Applied ceramic wax after and my car looked as good as new.

I did clay my Wagon R, boy this thing made the surface of it smooth as silk. Not much precautions needed before the application; use soapy water to make the surface more receptive to the bar. I don't recommend using it on the glass as I had some bad experiences with it. Stick to the body parts.

As someone who manages a detail shop, clay can take off stuff sticking more than what soap and sponge do. Tip: put few drops dish soap and water in pump sprayer. Spray on surface then make clay flat and rub. Soap/water just for making slide easy. Rinse then polish or wax. It's bit of work but if done properly, paint becomes very smooth!!!

These clay bars are really worth the money, especially when you compare them to others out there. First off, the packaging is superb – you can even reuse the container in your kitchen once you're done with the clay. Just to let you know, this was my first time trying out clay bars, so I don't really have any comparison, but they did an amazing job and made my car shine beautifully. I'm definitely going to buy them again once I use them all up.
